Changes coming in Batch 3

Hey everyone! I just wanted to write a quick blog post with any changes that are coming for Batch 3, just so everyone is on the same page!
All the changes are based on feedback I've received or small things I've noticed and wanted to improve.

None of them are major changes, it's all just small adjustments to finesse the game. Get in touch with me directly if you have any questions nathan@crypticcrafter.com

These changes only apply to the Batch 3 pre-orders (the full box set). Any individual components (such as the cards or rulebook) currently available are from Batch 2 and will slowly be transitioned to Batch 3 versions as we sell through stock.

Rule Changes

• Translated rules into Spanish.

• Added 4 new custom sigils (was "Check Rules" sigil)

    I have also decided to include the original unmodified cards in every order. These sigils will be the new default. But the originals will be provided as extras in the back of the deck.

  • Reborn Sigil (Used on Ouroboros Card)
    Same effect as the Unkillable sigil. But upon death, increases its power and health by 1. Resets each full game.
    
    
  • Bone Shedder Sigil (On Long Elk Card)
    The same effect as the Sprinter Sigil. However, A Vertebrae card is dropped in its previous space each time it moves.
    
    
    
  • Awoken Sigil (On Child 13)
    

    When sacrificed, this card swaps to an alternate version. If sacrificed 13 times, this card swaps to Hungry Child
    
    

  • Itchy Sigil (On Pelt Lice)
    When chosen, gain 2 pelt cards. If a pelt card is played, this card will be taken from your hand or deck and played into any empty adjacent space.
    
• Added "Amorphous" sigil.
  • "Flip cards from the shared draw pile until you find one with a single sigil. This card gains that sigil’s effects.
    Active when first played"
• Added note about the included Death Card Pen.
• Various grammatical changes.

Print Changes

• Added Amoeba card as bonus card.
• Added new sigils to: Long Elk, The Daus, Ouroboros, Child 13, Pelt Lice.
• Adjusted borders and margins on some cards and sigil reference guides.
• Changed paper texture image on sigil reference guides.
• Changed bee card backs to match swaps backs.
• Changed printed packaging to be 14+ age range for regulatory reasons.

Physical Changes

• Changed vinyl box sticker to matte gold box sticker.

If any more changes are made during the production process, I'll update this list here.

Once all the parts are ready, I'll be offering an "B3 Update Kit" for any customers from Batch 1 or 2 who would like the new cards in their box set!
