Inscryption IRL has been fully re-designed from the ground up, specifically for two player gameplay. The rules have been modified from the original video game, to create a balanced and fair board game that anyone can play (not just fans of Inscryption!)

Each set is hand assembled by me, my wife (and occasionally some friends) in our Australian workshop. Most of the elements have been designed and manufactured specifically from the ground up for this project.

If you choose to add on card sleeves, there are two options which are automatically provided.
1) Base game only - Includes 200 card sleeves
2) Kaycee's Mod Expansion
Includes 250 card sleeves, and an extra card storage tuck box.

Wooden Box Details & Ageing
The wooden box measures: 39x23.5x12.5cm (15.35”x9.25”x5”) and weighs a whopping 3.2kg (7lbs)
These wooden boxes are made of pine, a softer wood which is designed to age with time. We believe there's a beauty in objects that pick up small scratches and dings over time, with each box telling the unique story of it's owner.
As these are assembled by hand and made of natural wood there will be small variations between each box. But rest assured every single box is carefully checked before it's sent out to you!
What's missing from the video game?
This re-designed two player version of the game.
It does not include any maps or events, such as campfires, totems, boss battles, pelts, sigil transfers, etc. Those are best left to the original video game.
Because of this, there are also some omitted cards:
No pelts or gold, Bait Bucket, ‘Greater’ versions of cards, Static Card, Starvation, Strange Frog / Traps, or Ringworm.

This is absolutely amazing! If someone didn't know this was made by a fan they could easily mistake this for an official production. It's insanely impressive. The quality of all the components is staggering, especially the scale tracker. Moving that tooth along the track is so satisfying! The game box is gorgeous as well! The rulebook is very well thought out and works well for 2 player IRL! The included reference sheets are very helpful! The rules comes in a leather pouch, need I say more? It's amazing. We had a lot of fun playing it and the next day we weren't able to play it, but I still pulled it out just to open it, so I could look at and admire it! It's beautiful!
Nathan is very helpful and a very nice talented person. When you buy something from someone you want to know that you're buying from a good person and I'm very happy that that's the case!

Incredible quality
What sets this product apart from other "IRL Inscryption" attempts is the attention to adapting the game's mechanics for reliable play; rather then print all the cards and call it a day, Crypt Crafter has successfully reformatted the game into a true board game experience. The care with which this was executed is evident in the recommendations within the rules, such as advising against the use of certain cards (which are still included, however, allowing players to customize their experience). Various adjustments to each batch further showcase the designers' desire to ensure they are delivering the best product possible. Production updates are also frequent, and my order inquiries were answered promptly. Overall I'd say this is well worth the investment.
The wait was long, and the wait was worth it
Wonderful game, high price but it is understandable given the small batches and the high quality of every component. Everything looks and feels great. I like the brass bell, the sound of the bones and the scale, the magnificent wooden box with gold logo, the explanations about balance in the rule book, the playing board design, the candles... I can feel that you put attention into every little detail and I appreciate it immensely. As a result, playing the game is fun and gives kind of the same vibe as the video game. I'm sure we'll play a lot !
