Production Update #2
This was sent as a production update email on the 23rd October 2024
Hey again everyone! Time for another update, I can’t believe it’s been a month already, time flies.
Since the last update we’ve had even more parts arrive! We now have the rulebook folders, death card sleeves, metal coins, foam inserts and half of all the cards.
The only products we’re currently waiting on is the bells, wooden boxes and some shipping materials!
I also had a small segment in the Inscryption 3 year anniversary livestream! Thanks Vladde for inviting me!
Today I had the metal teeth arrive, and boy oh boy are they satisfying. Just seeing them in a big pile like that doesn’t feel real! I’ve already started gluing in the magnets for these.
Any orders with a scale and other individual items should be shipping soon!
I also just realised, last time you all saw anything about the Kaycee’s mod coins, they were paper prototypes.
We were originally planning to make plastic coins, but that just didn’t feel like it matched with the rest of the game…
So I upgraded all the coins to metal! They’re double sided and used to keep track of which tribes you’ve played throughout the round. Love them!
Here are the cross tokens and dice from Kaycee’s mod too.
The cross tokens are used to keep track of things like the blood lust sigil or the Magickal Bleach item.
The dice are used exclusively for the Brood Parasite sigil, giving you a 1 in 10 chance to play a raven egg instead of a broken egg
The folders are great, and they have this nicely embossed logo.
Packing all bits inside these is one of my favourite activities.
And a brand new item, added to every full box order!
A death card pen!
These are just customised little fine nib permanent markers. I thought it would be nice to include something on brand instead of just expecting you to have your own sharpie.
And as predicted, we had the first issue! Some of the playing cards were incorrectly cut. Every 7th card was about 1mm shorter than the rest. Resulting in a stepped effect.
My card manufacturer has fixed the issue and is replacing all the decks that were effected! So just delayed the rest of those by a week or two.
All in all, we’re still on track. About 2 months into our 4-6 month production timeline now. It’s getting closer now and I expect we should start shipping around that 4 month mark. There’s a lot of orders to go through so the lower your number the earlier it will be sent! And based on last time it does take a while to go through all the orders.
Thank you again, and as always feel free to reach out to me anytime
Craftilly,
Nathan
